Safety and privacy
Patient information is private. We built ProfMed around that from the first day.
Two-step sign-in
Everyone signs in with a password and a code from an app on their phone. A stolen password alone is not enough. (You can choose to have a trusted computer remembered for a while.)
Encryption
Chat messages, photos, files, forms and visit notes are encrypted before they are stored.
Only what your job needs
An agency sees only its own patients. A nurse sees only her own offers and jobs. Partner businesses never see patient information. ProfMed staff cannot read agency chats or patient records.
A record of every action
Important actions are recorded: who did what, and when. Visit check-ins and check-outs cannot be changed after they are saved.
Payments stay outside
When an agency pays ProfMed, the card is entered on Stripe’s secure page. ProfMed never sees card numbers. ProfMed is not involved in money between agencies and nurses.
Your choice, nurses
Your phone number and email stay private until you say yes to an agency.
